I was born and raised in the suburbs of Kyiv – the city of Brovary. But Kyiv has always been very special to me. I remember Kyiv from my childhood weekend trips with my mother to the Hydropark – eating cotton candy, and riding carousels with innocent delight. And a mandatory visit to McDonald's, of course!
During my school years, the city gave me unknown sensations of independence. My first "adult" shopping, when for the first time in my life with shaking hands I gave two hundred hryvnias at the checkout for a new pair of jeans.
This city was about new experiences during the student years, wandering through the morning streets, sticking in coffee houses, dating in the Kinopanorama and kissing inside the planetarium.
Kyiv holds a special place in my heart. Now and always.
