Typeface alphabet of the Ukrainian Identity (ABETKA 33) is a project that displays 33 modern Ukrainian typefaces in an interactive way. Each letter in the project represents a distinct symbol and has a dedicated page that showcases a new Ukrainian typeface. Users can explore the profiles of the creators of each typeface and access links to licensed usage.
The Objective
Create interactive merchandise that's both unique and captivating, designed to tell the story of the ABETKA 33 project while being a key part of a larger promo campaign.
Design Solution
Simple things form complex ones. Letters combine into words, words into sentences, and sentences into language. Language conveys meanings without which we cannot imagine ourselves as individuals. And it is individuals that shape
a nation. To understand Ukrainians, one should start with the simple.
The goal is to showcase the diversity of Ukrainian fonts and inspire their use in everyday life. Imagine them as stickers on your laptop, phone case, notebook, or anywhere around your house or workspace. By interacting with these unique letters and discovering the words they can form, you can find your own unique Ukrainian identity.
